An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Process Engineer to become an integral part of our continued expansion.
The role is responsible for the technical assurance of all process engineering requirements of capital projects ensuring they are delivered technically assured to meet regulatory and statutory requirements in the highly regulated GMP environment.
You will have an engineering degree, in Chemical Engineering and preferably be a chartered engineer or be able to demonstrate your progress towards this standard. We are looking for an experienced engineer with previous experience of delivering capital projects on operational assets, a proven track record as a lead discipline engineer in a projects environment is an essential requirement.
The role requires range of experience of concept through to detailed design, commissioning and qualification. You will have experience of managing third party design and build contractors and consultants and have the knowledge to define and approve process engineering scope of works, deliverables and verifications plans for a range of capital projects. You will be able to demonstrate experience in project resource allocation and technical safety risk management, Chair HAZOP studies and other process safety related reviews The ideal candidate will be confident in communicating technical information clearly and hold the ability to reach decisions objectively, consistently and fairly using discretion where appropriate.
We are looking for a candidate who can balance the demands of delivering technically compliant projects on time in full whilst developing our continuous improvement of process design and build engineering capability. You will have an understanding of the process engineering standards required to deliver projects to GMP and regulatory requirements, previous demonstrable experience in these skills is an essential requirement.
