Co-Op, Analytical Process Development

Fujifilm Diosynth Biotechnologies U.S.A., Inc. is offering a summer internship for a college student majoring in a Life Sciences discipline. This position is in the Analytical Process Development group. The student will use existing analytical tools to develop and setup protocols to study protein properties. The student will develop and execute methodologies to study the effects of bioprocessing conditions. This is a great opportunity to gain invaluable experience working for an industry-leading biopharmaceutical contract manufacturing organization.

 

Minimum requirements:

 

  • Must be a Science or Engineering major, preferably pursuing a degree in Biochemistry, Biophysics, Computational Biology, Bioinformatics or Chemical Engineering
  • Experience or familiarity with analytical methodologies for protein analysis such as electrophoresis, chromatography, spectroscopy is preferable
  • Basic math, data analysis and data modeling
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work individually or as part of a team
